This little reel makes an ideal light boat or estuary reel for adults and will still handle the harsh treatment of young anglers in a sandy and saltwater environment. The 40GDZ is for adults or the more advanced junior angler who wants to let their fish take some line under clutch pressure (anti-reverse switch on).
A fish alert also sounds to tell your line is being taken. You can also select no anti-reverse and no noise if required. Reels work for right handed or left-handed use. With Alvey’s revolutionary Easy Cast System, teaching the children to cast could not be easier.
