The Pilot 6" Commander series reel is another favourite amongst many surf and rock fisherman. Featuring a vented glass fibre reinforced plastic spool and graphite back meaning weight is kept to a minimum while still maintaining Alvey's unrivalled reliability.
An easy to adjust star nut drag gives excellent drag pressure through polished brassed plates combined with PTFE coated woven glass washers which can withstand very high temperatures. Also featuring a quick and easy drag on/off switch on the rear and a fish alert button meaning you will never miss another run.
Incorporating the Turbo Cast mechanism, allowing for increased casting distance by keeping the reel slightly further away from the rod allowing the line to flow more freely.
This Australian made reel is finished off with a stylish and durable marbled grey colour.
